On her new LP Morning Sun, a 70’s inspired coming-of-age confessional that she recorded with Chris Taylor (Rival Sons, Dylan LeBlanc, The Wood Brothers), she effortlessly mixes traditional folk and groovy americana. From the green-eyed soul of her hit single “Mary Jane” to the jagged-edged ballad of “Tangled Up in You”, she can hit all the notes. Even living legends praise her songwriting skills; her song ‘1995’ was called a favorite by none other than Sir Elton John. Shawn small 2016SHAWN BYRNE – Nashville, TN – When Shawn Byrne was born, the umbilical cord was barely cut when a new one was soon attached – this one plugged straight into a wooden Zenith record player via headphones where the music of Cash, Willie, and Waylon played nicely alongside The Stones, The Beatles, and The Who. After a stint at Berklee College of Music Shawn made the move to Nashville, and the Bluebird Cafe found their new dishwasher. Shawn scrubbed pots and pans while just beyond the kitchen wall some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters plied their trade. Shawn honed his writing and playing skills & became one the town’s most sought out guitar slingers. He has shared the stage with some of Country Music’s finest including Rodney Atkins, James Otto, Ashton Shepherd, Kelleigh Bannen, Mark Collie and many others. In time Shawn’s talents as a songwriter got the attention of publishers and major artists alike, garnering Shawn a SESAC writer’s award and around 20 cuts to his name. SARAH PEACOCK Nashville, TN – American history is blood-stained with the dehumanization of entire communities. Casting her own harrowing spell, singer-songwriter Sarah Peacock draws parallels between current events and the 1692 Salem Witch Trials with the title song to her new record, Burn the Witch (March 27, 2020). Finger-picking guitar work cleanses the throat as her voice swells to mimic the havoc strewn through time, as well as present-day strife along our southern border. Such raw intensity boils over onto the rest of the 11-track record, and while her style is not easily defined, her storytelling prowess is irrefutably potent and unnerving. Peacock works her magic across every single moment, each syllable diligently carrying its weight and heart. The music is expertly packaged and delivered with a sense of urgency while never feeling heavy-handed or exploitative. Burn the Witch is about truth and understanding of humanity, and Peacock will not back down until the whole world is listening. www.sarahpeacockmusic.com

MEAGAN TUBB – Dripping Springs, TX – Meagan Tubb pays homage to music of a bygone era with a séance of classic rock, blues, soul, Americana, and funk. Over the course of her career she and her bandmates have managed to win a battle of the bands competition, open for Willie Nelson (twice), get 2 guitar sponsorships from both Dean and Luna Guitars, tour extensively across the U.S. and Europe, and her song, “Let Me Believe” won an Independent Music Award for “Best Song” in the Blues category and was a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition.  Her last album released Feb 2011 titled “Cast Your Shadow” received positive accolades in The Austin Chronicle, Vintage Guitar Magazine, Austin Music and Entertainment magazine, Lonestar Music Magazine, and Pure Southern Rock Magazine.  When she is not onstage, Meagan is busy being a wife and mother, crocheting things for her baby girl, doing yoga, running, cooking, rapping about motherhood, and talking in silly accents. www.meagantubb.com

ERIK VAN DEN BROECK – Kapelle op den Bos, BELGIUM – Erik van den Broeck was born and bred in Belgium and is currently based near Brussels.  He started out as an old school singer songwriter – one man, one guitar, one distinctive voice and a truck load of songs. He crafted his songwriting skills over the years and performs under the alter ego of The Monotrol Kid – playing his way around clubs and venues in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, France, UK and Ireland where his pure storytelling touches souls wherever he plays. With four albums and two EP’s Erik’s music stands for a trip down everybody’s world. From tears to laughter from happy to sad.  Storytelling, touching your soul and drawing in the listener with a very personal story, a mix of uplifting tunes, tinged with a veiled sense. Erik will be officially releasing his new album, Exhale, at the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival.   www.themonotrolkid.com

DAN WEBER – Vancouver, WA – Award Winning songwriter Dan Weber has been described as “The Classic Mid-Life Overnight Sensation” after bursting onto the festival scene in 2010 to a standing ovation at the Sisters Folk Festival for his engaging set in the Dave Carter songwriting contest. Since then he’s toured extensively across the country, becoming a rare 3 time finalist in the legendary Kerrville New Folk competition. In 2019 he won 1st Place in the Woody Guthrie songwriting contest for his deeply moving song about gun violence, ‘Ever Since Columbine’. A former National Park Service Ranger, Weber’s off-the-cuff stories from the many roads he’s traveled are often hilarious, and his songs have been described as “reminiscent of early John Prine” as well as “insightful and awfully funny.” The UK’s Maverick Magazine said “4 Stars: The touch of a true Master Craftsman songwriter” and legendary Folk troubadour Ramblin’ Jack Elliott said, “I love Dan’s songs and he tells really good stories.”   www.danwebermusic.com

ALEX WINTERS – Georgetown, TX – Underneath Alex’s high-shimmer vocals and lithe, acoustic guitar melodies are evocative tales of dreamers and risk-takers, sung by an artist who’s unafraid to peer into the dark while making her way into the light. Luna Guitars bestowed her with their Shining Star award in 2011, and 360 Magazine called her vocals “seamless” and her compositions “effortless.” Exploring the wicked beauty of love’s complications, creating romantic vignettes with dark twists and unexpected turns, and conjuring the deep feelings between soul mates lost and found, Alex’s songs merge a poet’s sensibilities with a finely-tuned ear and natural agility with melody. Alex is releasing brand new music in 2019, starting with “Silent Storm” on August 23rd, followed by more single releases towards the end of 2019 and into 2020. This collection of original tunes will mold Alex’s forthcoming album Beauty and Blemishes. www.alexwintersmusic.com
