Aubryn Site Pic SmallAUBRYN – Nashville, TN – It takes a certain artist to not only draw you in with a song, but to keep you hanging onto every word. Aubryn, a singer/songwriter hailing from Nashville, TN, is known for her ability to do just that. Aubryn’s quirky songs and sharp wit paired with often haunting melodies tell surprising stories of multidimensional women. Her sound has been described as “badass Allison Krauss,” and “Wild West meets Old School New Orleans”. Aubryn recently was signed with San Diego based Big West Music and she has won 1st and 2nd place in the San Diego Songwriter’s Guild Song Competition with two songs off her debut album, 1st place at the San Diego County Fair Singer/Songwriter competition, and was a 2015 Kerrville Folk Festival finalist in the New Folk Competition. Billy B 2016 smallBILLY BROOME – Austin, TX – Billy’s sound has been described as Ameripolitian, Americana, or Roots. His honest original storytelling receives attention wherever he goes. He is a native Texan that was raised in the rual town of Bonham. He moved to Austin as soon as he could to learn and mature in city that is known for its Texas-style song crafters and guitar slingers. His first five song EP was released this year (Silo Road Volume 1). In which he wrote four of the five songs and co-wrote the fifth. Billy preformed during Bigfest 2014 and his band, Silo Road, has been part of Texas Radio Live and preformed all over the state of Texas in such notable places as Threadgills, Cheatham Street, and Mercer Street Dance Hall to name a few. www.siloroadband.com

Shawn small 2016SHAWN BYRNE – Nashville, TN – Shawn Byrne was born in 1973 in Middletown, Ct. at Middlesex Hospital. The umbilical cord was barely cut when a new one was soon attached – this one plugged straight into a wooden Zenith record player via headphones where the music of Cash, Willie, and Waylon played nicely alongside The Stones, The Beatles, and The Who. After a stint at Berklee College of Music Shawn made the move to Nashville, and the Bluebird Cafe found their new dishwasher. Shawn scrubbed pots and pans while just beyond the kitchen wall some of Nashville’s most successful songwriters plied their trade. Shawn honed his writing and playing skills & became one the town’s most sought out guitar slingers. He has shared the stage with some of Country Music’s finest including Rodney Atkins, James Otto, Ashton Shepherd, Kelleigh Bannen, Mark Collie and many others. HOPECASSITY - SmallHOPE CASSITY – Nashville, TN – The loss of her Dad wasn’t easy in 2015, but Nashville songwriter Hope Cassity proved courageous when she released a tribute to him last Father’s Day. Cassity has been featured on the cover of Regional Musician Magazine, earned two nominations for NCMA AWARDS (Nashville New Country Music Awards), won NCMA for Female Vocalist of The Year, and has received unprecedented radio play. Her song “Closure” was the first songwriter cut recorded by Penny Rae, and was chosen as their single. The duo recorded 5 more songs that Hope wrote on their follow up album “Two”. Corcoran works extensively in both the Pop and Country community throughout Stockholm, London, Germany, Australia and the US. With numerous #1 hits and cuts to her name, including Australia’s biggest country hit of 2010 and an upcoming Hollywood movie opening theme. Brad Cunningham Site PicBRAD CUNNINGHAM – Kansas City, MO – The Brad Cunningham Band’s debut album, “Every Inch of Texas” (2016, distributed by Sony RED, Produced by Wes Sharon, 115 Recording) features 10 original songs written or co-written by front man Brad Cunningham, an awarded songwriter and 2016 finalist in the Telluride Troubadour Contest, Falcon Ridge Folk Fest, and International Songwriting Competition. A native of Columbia, Missouri, Cunningham’s songwriting inspirations include Willie Nelson and Robert Earl Keen Jr. His tastes solidified during his college years at Baylor University, where he fell in love with Red Dirt Texas Country and the music of Pat Green and Jason Boland & the Stragglers.   Degree in hand, Cunningham returned home to focus on a career in music. Ali Holder Site Pic smlALI HOLDER – Austin, TX – Based out of Austin, Texas, Ali Holder released her sophomore EP, “From My Veins Will Fall” in 2015.  Texas Music Magazine speaks of her “fondness for blunt, authentic lyrics.”  With influences ranging from Outlaw Country to Lilith Fair, KUTX, Austin’s NPR station calls Holder an “an individual with a love for words and storytelling.”  Holder has a bi-monthly residency at Stay Gold when she is in town and spends a few months of the year touring regionally and nationally. Texas Monthly refers to her music as “whiskey-soaked pieces of sad country-influenced songwriting that recalls Lucinda Williams and Ryan Adams.”  www.aliholder.com

chad hudson smallCHAD HUDSON – Dripping Springs, TX – Born and raised in Austin, TX, Chad was raised on a-cappella in church and at a young age learned to sing precise and complicated harmonies. Forming his first cover band at the age of 18 he played the Texas dance hall circuit for over a decade. Chad’s musical journey eventually led him to Nashville, where he was introduced to EMI Nashville’s Gary Overton and Universal Music Group’s director of A&R, Brian White. These men saw potential in Chad and opened the doors to the exciting worlds of songwriting, publishing and music production. Chad has found success with cuts by Georgia Middleman, David Grissom, Rebecca Lynn Howard, Kevin Denny, Matt Stillwell, Colt Ford, and the Scott Taylor Band, to name a few. Pat Hull SmallPAT HULL – Chico, CA – Pat Hull is a singer-songwriter from Connecticut currently based out of Chico, CA. His music intertwines a melodic, soulful, counter-tenor vocal range with a unique finger picking style, creating a dreamy landscape with unpredictable hooks and turns. Pat’s newest release ’In the Yellow Room’ was recorded live in Portland, OR. It showcases his delicate yet raw ability to compose, sing, write, and perform.  Prior recordings, including ‘Light’ and ‘Shed Skin,‘ were recorded and produced in Bennington, VT with engineer, JJ Beck and vocalist, Michael Chinworth. Liza 2016 SmallLIZA LAVOLTA – Nashville, TN – Liza Lavolta is an up and coming singer songwriter hailing from Nashville, TN. Tome Meny 2016 smallTOM MENY – Buda, TX – Singer/songwriter Tom Meny is definitely on his way. In May of 2015, Meny was a winner of the prestigious New Folk Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. In June of 2016, Meny was a Telluride Troubadour finalist.  Tom Meny was also a finalist at NPR’s Mountain Stage NewSong Competition in 2012 and won the Recording Conservatory of Austin’s singer/songwriter competition in 2013.  To date, Tom Meny has over 2 million YouTube video views. Meny’s desire to live life in a way that is charismatic and filled with passion for what he does comes across in the intelligent lyrics and melodies in his songs. Sylvia SmallSYLVIA ROSE NOVAKAthens, GA –  Sylvia Rose Novak spent half of her childhood in San Antonio, TX. She pulls musical influence from the general landscape of the south and the southwest. Images of dark pine forest and west Texas deserts can be found throughout her songs, which are delivered by a resonating vibrato, and accompanied by her casual swing-style fiddle. Garrett Own Site PicGARRETT OWEN – Dallas, TX – Now based in Dallas, TX, singer songwriter Garrett Owen grew up in East Africa and Ecuador, the son of missionary parents. Small pieces of his childhood make their way into his songs from time to time, which at their core are based on something true. “True” being the version he carries.  Owen is a finger-style guitarist  who writes songs about relationships and places that he’s been.  He has one EP, “Slightly Foreign”, under his belt and he’s currently finishing up work on a full length album which will he support with lengthy tour.   www.garrett-owen.com

Abe Partridge Site SmalABE PARTRIDGE – Mobile, AL – Abe Partridge left home at 18 to pursue a theological education. On the way, he became a landscaper, a roofer and a day-laborer, until finally accepting a pastorate in Appalachia Kentucky at the young age of 25. After 2 years he left the pastorate and returned to Mobile with his wife and kids and joined the Air Force and was deployed in the Middle East.  In December 2015, he headed to Nashville to record his first album, White Trash Lipstick.  He has hit the gulf coast music scene hard, playing for numerous songwriting events, house concerts, bars, etc… He is beginning to book shows further out, and hopes to cover the southeast over the next year. Abe Partridge performs his songs like an old fashioned preacher gone mad and with all the soul he can muster. He is a poet, not afraid to tackle any subject. Dan Patterson - SmallDAN PATTERSON – Lubbock, Texas – From growing up in the small West Texas town of Farwell, to traveling the hundreds of thousands of miles of open American highway, Dan Patterson has always had one constant goal, and that is to bring people together. Matthew P smallMATTHEW PAYNE– Austin, TX – Matthew Payne writes and performs under the name The River Has Many Voices. He grew up in the hill country between Austin and Dripping Springs, and that’s where his songs grew up too. They come from simple things: hands, hearts, eyes, light, wind, rivers, canyons. Recently, he was selected as a New Folk Finalist at the Kerrville Folk Festival. His album, Division, was recorded in the old folk style tradition: one take, one sitting – just guitar and a harmonica.  His newest release, Ash St., is an album of cosmic folk songs and weaves together a narrative where every song works both individually and as a part of a whole.   www.theriverhasmanyvoices.com

Pecina melds a retro James Taylor vibe with a contemporary Jason Mraz feel, and funnels it all through a small town Texan’s rootsy sensibilities. The result is something unique yet familiar – and completely captivating. Pecina is a versatile songwriter, with an emphasis in Texas Country, Pop-Country, and Folk styles. His influences, among many others, include: Eli Young Band, Chris Knight, John Mayer, Stoney Larue, and Sean McConnell. Justin was chosen as one of eight songwriter finalists in the 2014 Texas Songwriter U competition, hosted by Jack Ingram, Gary Nicholson, and the ASCAP Foundation. He was a Top 32 finalist out of 800 songwriter submissions for Kerrville New Folk Festival. Jana P Site Pic SmallJANA POCHOP – San Marcos, TX – Austin based Jana Pochop began her vastly diverse career as an independent singer-songwriter when, as a child, she asked for a drum kit and her parents got her a guitar instead. She discovered Mary Chapin Carpenter at the age of 11 and found a beautiful purpose for that guitar. Her instinct for deep grooves and poignant lyrics are obvious on her most recent musical offering, Throats Are Quarries. Produced by Daniel Barrett, Jana combines her gifts; lyrics that are as fearless as they are vulnerable, as skeptical as they are hopeful – woven into beautiful and fully fleshed arrangements.
